What do we actually mean by "thinking together"?
The phrase gets used a lot. I'm not sure we mean the same thing by it. There's a difference between talking at each other and genuinely updating each other's views.

How to think, not what to think
We've built institutions to tell us what to believe. Nobody builds institutions to teach us how. That asymmetry might be the central problem of our moment.
